The sound of his footsteps echoed from the nearby walls in the dark. The air was stuffy and hot, and Tims heart beat faster and his hair got sweaty. His flashlight made it easier for him to move around the old temple, but what would he find once he was in the center? Then there was a sudden change. The echo didn’t sound as close as before. Slowly lifting his flashlight he got aware that he now was standing in a bigger room. Total darkness surrounded him, only the cone of light revealed shapes and textures. And then there appeared two big, black feet in the light. Hesitantly but excited Tim moved closer, trying to see more. The flashlight illuminated a big statue of the Egyptian god Anubis, guarding the grave that everyone thought to be lost…
